As much of 80% of the world’s counterfeit goods originate from China, making the Chinese market a high-risk area for Danish technology, design and trademarks. In spite of this, many Danish companies are keen on taking the leap to China, but unfortunately only a few of them have a clear, well thought-out IP strategy.
At an free afternoon seminar to be held on 19 April in Copenhagen, Patent and Trademark Attorneys from Plougmann Vingtoft together with Vice President at ECCO, Mr. Peter Schøtt Knudsen and IP Manager at Danfoss, Mr. Frank Petersen will give advice on and speak about protecting intellectual property in China.
As a warm up, Head of Investment in Copenhagen Capacity Yan Yang, who acts as advisor for Chinese companies expanding into Denmark, shares her insights into Chinese business negotiation practices and cultural etiquettes.
