Good Morning Ambassador Meeting – Swedish Venue

The first Good Morning Ambassador Meeting in 2013 will focus on eHealth solutions and the status of telemedicine in two highly interesting countries, Japan and South Korea.
As health care systems in developed countries face issues such as cost control, a necessary increase of efficiency, focus on prevention and diseases that require expensive precision medicines, the interest in and importance of eHealth solutions is constantly increasing.
At this seminar, our MVA Ambassador Thomas Jonsson, will introduce trends in Japan and South Korea and provide detailed information about cases where eHealth solutions have been implemented successfully.
Take the chance to tap into best practices and business opportunities in these eHealth intensive markets, and learn about the value the MVA Ambassador Program can create by arranging visits to these markets and putting you in direct contact with leading stakeholders.
Date & Time: Monday 25 February 2013, 8:00-10:30
Venue: Medeon Science Park, 205 12 Malmö, Sweden
Program
At the seminar, we will look at how a major Japanese Cancer Center uses IT to make patients’ visits to the hospital easier and more efficient. This center has more than 1000 visiting patients daily and each patient requires various lab tests and often also imaging diagnostics. The IT solution has greatly improved the flow and reduced waiting times. We will also look at this hospital’s patient information system and how they share information as well as the use of CADx in Japan. A new mobile solution greatly improving stroke treatment will be discussed, as well as a Korean remote home doctor system.
