The HALOS kick-off will introduce you to a unique cross-border Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerack (ÖKS) EU interreg project with 15 official partner organizations in Denmark, Sweden and Germany including research institutes, actors for regional development, and the large scale facilities ESS, MAX IV, DESY and European X-FEL! In addition, Oslo University is affiliated, with essential competence and its own financing package and a number of companies in Life Science are already backing the project. For more info about HALOS, go to the press release at Lund University or interreg ÖKS (a HALOS home page will soon be set up).

The HALOS kick-off allows you to join us from the beginning to work together in HALOS, creating cross-border platforms for the Life Science research and innovation ecosystems where academia and industry can meet. Key stakeholders will be connected and through the regional development work package an integrated research environment developing common strengths and joint strategies for regional cooperation will be established.
