Speakers:

 

 Pernille is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of the executive board. Pernille counsels on all areas of life science on anything from genetics and molecular biology to drugs, diagnostics, medico technology, and food technology.
Her clients range from small and medium-sized research-based companies to universities and regional hospitals all over Denmark. Pernille joined HØIBERG in 2005 and became partner in 2008. She is working with anything from novelty searches and landscape analyses to drafting and prosecution of patent applications, oppositions and infringement and invalidation before the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court. Furthermore, Pernille prepares second opinions, freedom-to-operate analyses and due diligence reports.
Pernille has a background in biology and molecular biology and completed both her thesis on yeast as model organism and her PhD in molecular biology and cell biology at the University of Copenhagen.

 

 Jens Viktor counsels on all areas of life science and medical technology including anything from genetics and molecular biology to drugs, diagnostics, analytical equipment, and medical equipment. Jens Viktor worked as patent attorney (among other places at HØIBERG) from 1998 to 2003 and has since gained extensive experience from the biotech industry serving as Director of IPR of two Danish biotech companies.

In 2008 Jens Viktor returned to HØIBERG to become a partner and team leader, and from 2015 also Chairman of the Board. Jens Viktor has a background as Master of Forestry at the Veterinary and Agricultural University (now Copenhagen University) specializing in biochemistry and plant technology. His dissertation was done at Uppsala University. Jens Viktor also has a PhD in forest genetics and biochemistry also from the Veterinary and Agricultural University.
