The Copenhagen Bioscience Conference – Natural Products – Discovery, Biosynthesis and Application
The Copenhagen Bioscience Conferences are a series of scientific conferences within biomedicine and biotechnology. They bring together some of the world’s top researchers and young talent to discuss the latest scientific results and hottest topics within a particular field. The purpose of the conferences is to enable participants to build an international network and relationships and to exchange knowledge and ideas. To promote a relaxed, trusting and open atmosphere, each Conference limits the number of participants, including the speakers, to 150–250. The Conferences are held in exclusive surroundings less than 1 hour north of Copenhagen International Airport. The high-quality social arrangements and excursions are designed to help the participants establish new contacts and make the Conferences a memorable experience.

Who can attend?
The primary criteria for attendance are a scientific accomplishment and the commitment to participate actively and meaningfully in the discussions and activities at the conference.
An important goal of the conferences is to bring senior scientists and young and upcoming talent together in order to spark inspiration. In accordance with this, researchers of all levels are encouraged to apply – from PhDs and Postdocs to Senior Researchers and Professors.
Secondly, the aim is to create a relaxed atmosphere of free and open discussion and debate across scientific boundaries. Participants are expected to contribute to this goal by active participation.
Furthermore, all participants are expected to stay for the entire duration of the conference. This is important in order to create the opportunities and the time necessary for the participants to build trust and strong relations.
Invitation of speakers is handled by the organizing committee, who is completely responsible for the scientific program and for inviting contributors at the highest international level.
