”We are very happy to welcome Anette to MVA, who will play a key role in our ongoing efforts to strengthen the framework conditions for life science in Medicon Valley. With her very substantial experience from working with public-private life science collaboration and her extensive network in both Denmark and Sweden, I am certain that she will be a great asset to our organisation and the Medicon Valley life science cluster as such.” says MVA chairman of the Board of Directors, Søren Bregenholt.
Fortunately, Anette, who will be replacing current MVA CEO, Petter Magnusson Hartman, 1st of November, when he takes up a new position as CEO of Medicon Village Innovation AB, is eager to get started and pick up the gauntlet.
”It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I take up this new position as CEO of MVA. I respect and acknowledge the impressive results created by the team of dedicated employees during the last couple of years. It is my explicit ambition to continue this positive development, serve MVA-members´ interests and help position Medicon Valley as the most competitive and attractive life science region in Northern Europe”, says Anette Steenberg.
Anette has had an extensive career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and has recently worked with the combination of life science, investment promotion and regional development in Greater Copenhagen as investment director at Copenhagen Capacity.
