At this year’s Ordinary General Meeting at Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA), which took place 6th of April, the entire MVA board of Directors was re-elected, including the chairman, Søren Bregenholt, CEO of Lund-based Alligator Bioscience, and vice chairman, Ulf G. Andersson, CEO of Medeon Science Park in Malmø.
“Despite a pandemic and travel restrictions I am happy to announce that MVA is stronger than ever both in terms of activities, participation and number of members, and the financial situation remains solid. The combination of a growing interest from foreign life science companies, the growing number of newly established life science startups from the region’s incubators and a consolidation of the life science cluster landscape in Denmark continues to contribute positively to our ambition to develop and position Medicon Valley as one of the top European life science regions” says chairman, Søren Bregenholt

It was furthermore agreed to adjust and slightly increase the annual member fee effective from 1st of May . As a consequence of the adjustment member companies registered with more than 50 employees will get a significant discount per employee exceeding 50 compared to the present set-up.
