MVA CEO, Anette Steenberg, presented the Medicon Valley case at Øresund Business Meeting – Talks

There are considerable remaining obstacles to the free movement of people and labor in the region and it´s time to move on from words to deeds were some of the important conclusions from todays well-organized Øresund Business Meeting – Talks hosted today by The Danish Chamber of Commerce and Øresundsbron bringing together an impressive list of speakers including but not limited to Linus Eriksson, CEO of Øresundsbron, Henrik Andersen, CEO of Vestas, Karen Elleman, Secretary General of Nordic Council of Ministers, Marianne Kock, General Manager Ferring IPC and Niels Paarup-Petersen MP from the Swedish Parliament.

MVA CEO, Anette Steenberg, presented the Medicon Valley case as a successful example of the benefits of DA-SE collaboration but emphasized the room for improvement.

As documented in the recently published analysis from Danish Chamber of Commerce, Swedish commuters contribute significantly to the Danish economy, and consequently it should be in the interest of also national decision-makers to protect free movement of people and labor in the region.
