Gaps & Opportunities in Women’s Health

For many years there has been a lack of funds to study issues related to women’s health. It is now more critical than ever for innovators, industry, and investors to take actionable steps to prioritize and improve women’s health.

BioInnovation Institute (BII) and Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA) have partnered up to bring together our networks and shed light on the significant unmet needs in women’s health. We are excited to invite you for a half-day seminar with renowned speakers who represent the triple-helix of academia, healthcare, and industry.

We will first tune in on the gender/data gaps with the Hologic Women’s Health Index 2022, which is based on a survey capturing and measuring women’s experience with health and healthcare. We will also hear from renowned researchers with entrepreneurial experience and how the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is supporting women’s health. The day will continue to showcase how new and established companies are making their way into the untapped market. To conclude the day, we are excited to have a panel of Danish and Swedish investors discussing how to ensure more investment in women’s health to capture the market potential.
