14 March 2025, Copenhagen: Medicon Valley Alliance is joining the HEALTH CITIES project, a new initiative under the Interreg Europe program. With 9 partners across 8 cities in 7 European countries, this collaboration on policies and frameworks will help European life science hubs foster innovation in the health and life sciences industry.

The HEALTH CITIES project aligns with the Draghi report on European competitiveness, which emphasizes the need for strong clusters for European economic growth and global leadership. By sharing best practices, facilitating knowledge exchange, and enhancing interregional cooperation, the project aims to strengthen Europe’s position in life sciences and health innovation.

As the project’s advisory partner, Medicon Valley Alliance – representing one of Europe’s largest and most successful life science regions – will contribute its expertise in innovation, talent attraction, and ecosystem development. From deep-rooted experience, we will support project partners in optimizing governance models, strengthening entrepreneurial services, and improving the frameworks for SMEs in the sector.
