Innovation Day 2025

Join us for Innovation Day 2025, hosted by the BioInnovation Institute (BII), a prestigious event that brings together the Bio Studio Symposium and the BII & Science Prize for Innovation Grand Award Ceremony in a single, inspiring day dedicated to celebrating the scientists who are transforming innovative research into tangible solutions.

The day will commence with insightful presentations from distinguished PI’s from BII’s Bio Studio program, including Kristian Strømgaard, Justin Siegel, Morten Sommer and Sine Hadrup, who will share their experiences in advancing cutting-edge research. There will be inspiring talks with Feng Zhang, Holden Thorp and Mikkel Skovborg all focusing on how scientific innovation can drive impactful societal change.

In BII’s spirit of bringing science to life, the day will also feature a panel discussion with Jens Nielsen, Rane Willerslev and Dina Petranovic Nielsen, that will explore the intersection of science, innovation, and global impact.

The afternoon will be devoted to honoring excellence in research, as we present the Science Prize for Innovation and the newly introduced Women’s Health Prize. These prestigious awards recognize groundbreaking contributions in science and innovation. Finalists and winners will share their pioneering work, while Hilary Critchley, a recognized authority in women’s health, will deliver a keynote speech. We will also celebrate the first-ever recipient of the Women’s Health Prize.
