Katie is Managing Director at Trellis, a consulting company focused on helping companies to leverage value via external resources and relationships, typically suppliers and outsourcing partners. Trellis has three business areas: Consulting; Networks; and Research. Trellis delivers strategic and operational services that help its clients to focus on strategic goals in outsourcing while developing stronger competencies and structures to support cross-organizational delivery.
Clients are engaged in knowledge-intensive outsourcing, i.e. outsourcing to build and/or deliver products and/or services. As such, most clients come from product development or R&D organizations. Within the pharma community, we are fortunate to include Takeda, LEO Pharma and Ferring Pharmaceuticals among our clients and network members.
|John Wilson, Senior Vice President, Beaufort|
John has over thirty-five years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with most of that in the arenas of clinical quality and compliance. Prior to the founding of Beaufort in 2004, John spent twenty-seven years in the Boehringer Ingelheim organization, with his last position being Vice President of Quality. John is a recognized thought leader and innovator in the field of Quality Oversight, having presented at multiple symposia and workshops, and is the author of several papers on the subject of vendor oversight. John currently serves as Chair of the DIA Working Group on Quality Oversight. In his role as Senior Vice President and Partner at Beaufort, John is responsible for delivering Quality Oversight solutions to pharmaceutical clients.
The Medicon Valley Outsourcing Workshop is a one day workshop with focus on learning and networking. During group discussions the participants will use and share own experiences and through discussions learn from each other and improve the knowledge and understanding between sponsors and providers. Moreover, the outsourcing workshop will bring a unique opportunity to interact with peers and build a strong network without the interaction being directly related to sales.
