Join us at the DDEA PhD Course on the Role of Ageing in Health and Disease with a Focus on Endocrinology this September!
With this course, we aim to bring together PhD students in Denmark and from abroad for a scientific course that both deepens and widens your knowledge about ageing from an endocrinology perspective.
In the three-day course, you will
- Learn and discuss endocrinology across the life span, including changes during ageing
- Broaden and deepen your knowledge of this research area from different angles – clinical, basic, translational
- Engage with cutting-edge, foundational science of the mechanisms of cellular ageing
- Tackle challenges from the clinic, such as male and female endocrinology as we age, side effects of hormonal treatments, and osteoporosis.
- Connect clinical and basic research to demonstrate translational science, moving from the bench to the clinic
- Attend lectures from leading experts in the field
- Interact with speakers and other participants during and after the lectures.
- Discuss your own research interests and projects while meeting other PhD students and becoming acquainted with their research projects and participating in group tasks together
- Establish and expand a national and international network with peers and research leaders in the endocrinology of ageing
