What to expect
This year’s programme explores how researchers, innovators, and ecosystem actors can work together to move world-class science from discovery to societal and commercial impact, featuring:
- International perspectives from leading innovation hubs, including Boston and London, on the
key components of strong innovation ecosystems and the conditions that enable successful
translation. - Insights from translational leaders on bridging the gap between discovery and societal impact,
and the capabilities, infrastructure, and expertise required to do so successfully. - A forward-looking discussion on how AI, emerging financing models, and evolving innovation
districts are transforming the journey from scientific excellence to scalable impact,
entrepreneurship, and commercialization.
You will also experience live pitches of novel ideas and celebrate the winners of the UCPH:BII Life Science Innovation Award 2026.
