CRISPR Medicine NewsCRISPR Medicine News (CMN) has been chronicling the rapid rise of gene editing since 2018, following CRISPR’s transformation from a revolutionary tool to a real-world therapy - culminating in the first-ever approved CRISPR-based treatment in 2023.
We provide in-depth, expert-written coverage across gene-editing technologies, delivery systems, in vivo applications, pre-clinical and clinical developments, and safety innovations. Our reporting is driven by scientific rigor and reviewed by the experts we interview.
Subscribers stay current through our CMN Weekly Newsletter, regular CMN Briefs, CMN Special and CMN Interviews that feature the most recent and interesting research, frequent CMN Clinical Trial Updates, and a continually updated CRISPR Medicine Clinical Trials register. Our CMN Webinars and CMN Live interviews further ensure that readers at every level can access critical insights.
In 2021 we launched WeDoCRISPR (WDC) - the world’s first CRISPR-focused community for students and early-career scientists. Through engaging explainers, videos, and visuals, WDC makes CRISPR accessible and exciting for the next generation of genome editors. WDC is managed by Martina Franchini, PhD., Antonio Carusillo, PhD., and Manel Llado Santaeularia, PhD.
Each year, our efforts culminate in the CRISPR Medicine Conference (CRISPRMED) in Copenhagen, where global leaders in CRISPR/genomic medicine connect, collaborate, and chart the path forward.
