At Medicon Valley Alliance we have just learned that our long-term partner Swiss Biotech Association is initiating a leadership transition as the current CEO Michael Altdorfer has expressed his intention to conclude his mandate by spring 2027.
Michael has been instrumental in bridging the Swiss and Medicon Valley life science eco-systems and, consequently, we have for several year´s facilitated several MVA members companies participation in the ever-growing Swiss Biotech Days conference, which he has established and developed into one of the key life science partnering conferences in Europe.
We hope to continue the cross-pollination of our two European life science ecosystems, and maybe the next CEO of Swiss Biotech Association will be someone familiar with life science in the Nordics?
It will be big shoes to fill, but if you have big feet….
