Niels Abel Bonde, General Manager Novo Nordisk Sweden, will be elected new chairman of the Board of Directors of Medicon Valley Alliance

As highlighted in the two articles published today by Life Science Sweden and Medwatch respectively, Niels Abel Bonde, General Manager Novo Nordisk Sweden, will be elected new chairman of the Board of Directors of Medicon Valley Alliance at the upcoming 2023 Ordinary General Meeting. As the only candidate for the chairmanship and with unanimous support from the current board members representing the majority of the votes, Niels Abel Bonde, will formally assume office following the Ordinary General Meeting 19th of April. As emphasized in the Medwatch interview, one of his key objectives will be to assure that the Medicon Valley perspective and Medicon Valley as a selling point is explicitly included in both the Danish and Swedish national life science strategies. Niels Abel Bonde will replace Søren Bregenholt, CEO of Lund-based, Alligator Biosciences, who has held the chairmanship since 2015 and has decided to step down.
