MVA member Testa Challenge is an open innovation arena, dedicated to companies, in the Technology/Digital/Data/IT sector internationally, to test and verify their technology in a fully funded industry standard bioproduction at Testa Center, Uppsala, Sweden. Please note, participation does not require prior knowledge or experience in bioprocessing. The provided bioprocess, which is a bioproduction workflow for an Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) production, and together with the facilities and expertise, will allow an early evaluation of whether an innovation is applicable and successful for the bioprocessing industry.

The application period for Testa Challenge 2026 will open in August 2025.
Testa Challenge 2026 will take place in Uppsala, Sweden starting in January 2026 and will last for 3-weeks.
