Friday last week, the Danish Government launched the new 2.0 version of the national Danish life science strategy. It has generally been well received, although some patient organizations have complained about the lack of patient focus. Surprisingly, neither the Nordic nor the Medicon Valley perspective has been strategically included, but that can be dealt with in the implementation phase.
Today Danish daily, Berlingske, is all about life science with a special 48-page life science magazine full of ideas that can help strenthen and invigorate the strategi and fill in the missing pieces! Enjoy must-read contributions and must-read visions for Danish life science from among others MVA-member companies and partners such as Bristol Myers Squibb, Novo Nordisk, LINK Medical Research, Merck Group, AstraZeneca, Amgen, Pharma IT, IWA Consulting, Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Don´t miss the interview on page 14, with Medicon Valley Alliance CEO Petter Magnusson Hartman and MVA chairman of the Board of Directors, Søren Bregenholt about the need to integrate the Medicon Valley perspective in the implementation of the new national Danish life science strategy, if we are to optimize the likelihood of success.
