The prestigious 2022 Wolf Prize in Physics awarded to Lund professor, Anne L’Huillier

The 2022 Wolf Prize in Physics has been awarded to professors L’Huillier, Corkum and Krausz “for pioneering contributions to ultrafast laser science and attosecond physics”. The Wolf Prizes in physics and chemistry are often considered the second most prestigious awards in those fields, after the Nobel Prize "I am extremely proud and happy for Anne L'Huillier who receives the Wolf Prize in Physics in recognition for groundbreaking accomplishments of the highest order" says Erik Renström, Rektor Vice-Chancellor at Lunds University For more information see the recently published press release from the Wolf Foundation and the press release from Lund University Medicon Valley Alliance would of course like to congratulate professor L’Huillier, the other laureates and Lund University with this recognition which testifies to the excellent science being conducted in the region.
