Nordic Compass is a new Nordic industry alliance bringing together 30 leading companies and foundations to develop and scale concrete initiatives and public-private partnerships across Capital Markets, Deep Tech, Defence and Energy. Inspired by the Draghi report, its ambition is to position the Nordics at the forefront of global competitiveness and resilience while supporting European competitiveness more broadly.
At the MVA Annual Summit 2026, Maria Tarp, CEO of Nordic Compass, will present: “Turning Nordic Strengths into European Competitiveness.”
From an MVA perspective, we are particularly interested in the relevance of this agenda for life science. How can stronger Nordic collaboration, access to capital, deep tech capabilities and public-private partnerships help create better conditions for life science innovation and growth? And how can Nordic strengths contribute to Europe’s competitiveness in a sector of major strategic importance?
