MVA R&D Network meeting – Trends in Drug Delivery

Welcome to the fifth meeting of the Medicon Valley Alliance R&D Network on 24th of November.

The Medicon Valley Alliance R&D Network invites you to join the discussion on the importance of drug delivery in developing new medicines and how we can enhance future collaborations in the region within this field.

New innovations within drug delivery can create evident value for patients, for our society and for the life science industry with more effective and safe treatments, more convenient delivery modalities leading to better patient adherence to medication as well as new business opportunities and job creation. Looking into the future we have tremendous opportunities, but also some challenges, and it is therefore of great importance that we stay innovative and entrepreneurial.

The meeting, hosted by Sweden Drug Delivery Industry Group, will give you an overview of what is currently trending in drug delivery, from academic and industry point of view. The speakers will also engage in a panel discussion with focus on growing, and developing, the current pool of competences in the Øresund region within this field.

The Øresund region is home to great innovation in drug delivery and with advanced academic research centres as well as small and large sized companies, working on novel methods, tailoring of existing drug delivery systems and developing advanced assessment tools.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation in Denmark and Sweden this meeting is delivered in a shorter webinar format instead of a regular networking meeting.
