Bayer this year, on Tuesday, 5 November 2024 from 15:00 - 17:00 they will be holding the
Startup Spotlight Pitch Competition during BIO-Europe. The Startup Spotlight Pitch Competition is a platform for startups to get in front of potential investors and pharma partners, plus for those partners to have access to a curated pool of innovative companies.

Startup Criteria
Applications for pitching can be submitted for consideration by startup companies who meet the following criteria:
- Company created in the past three years, or innovation incubated within a company for a maximum of three years
- Developing new therapeutic solutions, technology and digital platforms
- Aggregate funding of €10 million or less
- Company with less than 20 employees
Winner selected by the judges will receive:
- A complimentary registration to attend a future EBD Group event.
- Tailored Bayer Co.Lab mentorship: Receive three 90-minute sessions with Bayer’s senior experts, focused on topics most relevant to the pitch competition winner
- Fast-track application review for Bayer Co.Lab Berlin residency (opening in November 2024), contingent on scientific and geographic fit
