On 23 April 2026, leaders from across Swedish and Danish life science gather for the 15th annual congress bringing together industry, academia, healthcare, investors and policymakers to strengthen cross-border collaboration. The congress is organized by Life Science Sweden and Medicon Village, in collaboration with Medicon Valley Alliance.
The 2026 programme follows a clear narrative. The day opens with a shared European, national and regional outlook, highlighting the forces shaping competitiveness in life science. It then moves through the key drivers of Nordic growth: talent and skills supply, innovation and commercialization, and the evolving funding and investment landscape across the Øresund region. The programme concludes with a forward-looking discussion on how Sweden and Denmark can strengthen their international position ahead of upcoming policy developments, before continuing the dialogue at the Science After Work reception.
As one of the region’s most influential life science gatherings, the congress is expected to attract several hundred participants and more than 20 exhibitors.
