MVA-veteran becomes new VP and head of the MVA Ambassador Program

Mar 21, 2014

Peter Nordström has taken over the position as Executive Vice President and Head of the MVA Ambassador Program after Charlotte Ahlgren Moritz’s move to Malmö University.

Over the past six years, Peter has held a series of roles at Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA). He joined as Senior Project Manager in 2008 and played a leading role in getting the Medicon Valley Beacons off the ground. For the past year, he has led MVA’s business development efforts, securing numerous special deals for MVA members and working with partners to deliver high-quality events.

Before joining MVA, Peter worked at Astra Zeneca where he managed a number of projects related to patient safety. A biologist by training, Peter has firsthand experience of research environments. As such, he brings both scientific and commercial experience to the MVA leadership.

“I look forward to strengthening MVA’s dialogue with key stakeholders in Medicon Valley. We need to create an even stronger Medicon Valley identity among the stakeholders in the region as this will enable us to further Medicon Valley’s international image. I believe that both MVA and our Ambassadors have a pivotal role to play in this process and I am very excited about working with our Ambassador team to deliver on this”, says Peter Nordström.

Peter lives outside Lund with his wife and three children.
