What are your long-term goals and how do you expect to benefit from your new Medicon Valley Alliance membership?
At PharmaGroup, our long-term focus is to strengthen compliance within Good Distribution Practice (GDP) across the life science sector in the Nordics and beyond. We aim to position ourselves as a trusted partner for companies that want not only to meet regulatory requirements but also to build sustainable systems that have a long-lasting impact.
Through our Medicon Valley Alliance membership, we look forward to exchanging knowledge, expanding our professional network, and contributing to discussions on how GDP can be implemented in practice. We also look forward to hosting courses and seminars where we share our perspective on what defines a “good” consultant and how to deliver measurable results, support long-term improvements, and leave behind a meaningful impact for the client.
PharmaGroup is particularly strong in Good Distribution Practice (GDP). What makes your approach to GDP different from other consultancies?
GDP is not just one of many focus areas, it is our core expertise. Our consultants bring extensive hands-on experience, with many having served as Responsible Persons (RP) or Deputy RPs. This gives us a practical understanding of the daily challenges companies face.
We make it a priority to stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends, and since the majority of our clients are GDP-related, we have built a strong track record across the full spectrum of distribution activities. Unlike many consultancies, we provide services that cover all aspects of GDP – from marketing authorization holders and wholesalers to storage, warehousing, and transportation. This ensures that our clients receive comprehensive and tailored support.
Many life science companies struggle with both local and EU-wide regulatory requirements. How does PharmaGroup ensure that your clients stay compliant across borders?
Compliance across borders can be challenging, especially when local practices differ from EU expectations. At PharmaGroup, we bridge that gap. Our team has worked with clients ranging from small Nordic wholesalers to global pharma companies expanding into new EU markets, and this gives us a clear understanding of how to balance local requirements with EU standards.
What sets us apart is that we do not only interpret the guidelines, however we translate them into practical processes that work in day-to-day operations. By tailoring systems to each client’s specific set-up, we ensure they stay compliant when inspected locally, but also when audited at an EU level. This way, our clients can focus on growing their business, knowing that their GDP framework is solid no matter where they operate.
