Bridging oral and systemic health
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Dent2Health Conference!
A conference with focus on bridging oral and systemic health. The oral microbiome, innovative treatments for type 2 diabetes, and the association between periodontitis and systemic diseases are some of the topics that will be highlighted during this day. This is also a great opportunity to network and discuss research, innovation and collaborations.
The conference is for anyone from healthcare, dental care, academia or companies who has an interest in the interconnection between oral health and systemic health – including the oral microbiome, type 2 diabetes, oral biomarkers, screening tools, and collaboration between dental and primary healthcare. You are cordially invited to join, and to take relevant colleagues and network contacts with you.
Participation is free, but registration is needed – please follow the sign-up links to the conference page.
The annual conferences are part of the Dent2Health initiative managed by Medeon Science Park in partnership with Medicon Valley Alliance. The initiative has three key focus areas: development of a screening tool based on oral biomarkers for type 2 diabetes, collaboration between dental care and primary care, and establishing a research and innovation hub on the connections between oral and systemic health (including an annual conference).
