Adam Spielman, Head of Health and Consumer at Citi Global Insights
In the health area, his overarching thesis is that in time, healthcare will become more preventative, more personalized, and more convenient, thanks to the convergence of the health, tech and consumer industries. In the consumer area he focuses on the Future of Food.
Previously he was head of EMEA Consumer Staples Research at Citi. He was ranked the #1 tobacco analyst for more than a decade. He also covered the beverages, food and HPC sectors at various times.
He joined Citi 1997 and was appointed managing director in 2014.
Adam has an MBA from Harvard, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, and an MA in Engineering and Philosophy from Cambridge University.
 
Jennifer Sheng, Managing Director in the Healthcare Equity Capital Markets team at Citigroup based in New York
Jennifer has over 15 years of capital markets and banking experience advising both private and public healthcare companies on their capital raising needs. She has advised on more than $12 billion of capital raised for her clients over the course of her career.
Prior to joining Citigroup, Jennifer was the Head of Healthcare Equity Capital Markets at Deutsche Bank. She joined Deutsche Bank from Bank of America Merrill Lynch where she was a Director in Healthcare Equity Capital Markets. She started her career at UBS Investment Bank having worked in their New York, Los Angeles and Hong Kong offices.
Jennifer earned a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
 
Nanna Lüneborg is General Partner at Forbion
Prior to joining Forbion, Nanna was a Partner at Novo Ventures and a key member of the European deal team focussing on late-stage biopharma investments across Europe. During her 10 years at Novo, Nanna was involved in numerous successful European growth stage investments including high-profile cross-over deals and IPOs. Notable investments led by Nanna include NBE Therapeutics GmbH, which was later acquired by Boehringer Ingelheim, LAVA Therapeutics N.V. (NASDAQ: LVTX) Orphazyme A/S (ORPHA.CO; ORPH), Inventiva S.A. (NASDAQ: IVA – Euronext Paris: IVA), ObsEva SA (NASDAQ: OBSV; SIX: OBSN), Numab Therapeutics AG, Nodthera Limited and ReViral Ltd.
Nanna began her career in venture capital at Apposite Capital and worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Cancer Research UK. Nanna holds an MBA from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Neuroscience from University College London, and a BA in Physiology and Psychology from the University of Oxford.
 
Dan Iacopetti, Head of Nordic ECM at Citi
Dans team has been ranked the #1 international bank for Nordic ECM in 3 of the last 5 years (Dealogic). Dan joined Citi in 2014 and is a Managing Director.
In addition to experience in the Nordics, Dan has significant ECM transaction experience in Italy, Israel, the UK and Germany.
Prior to Citi, Dan began his career in the infrastructure business of the Macquarie Group, with having a primary focus on both principal investment and advisory work in the Transport Infrastructure space.
Dan holds a degree in Economics (BSc, Hons.) from the University of Warwick and has been identified as a Financial News “top 40 under 40” for EMEA Investment Banking.
 
Gino Mbetse, heads Pharma Services and is a lead originator for Biotech and Specialty Pharma in the EMEA region for Citigroup based in London
Gino has over 13 years investment banking experience advising both private and public healthcare companies on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising needs. Gino has advised on more than $50bn of announced M&A for his clients over the course of his career.
Prior to joining Citigroup, Gino spent 6 years in the Healthcare team at Perella Weinberg in New York. He started his career at Deutsche Bank having worked in their London and Johannesburg offices.
Gino earned a BCom in Economics and Finance from the University of Cape Town.
 
Oliver Rey Beckstrom, Citi Commercial Bank industry head for Healthcare and Consumer & Retail for Europe, MEA and UK
Oliver leads the industry client coverage organisation that helps mid-sized companies with rapid growth and international expansion by providing them with Citi’s full product platform. He has 25 years of experience across commercial banking, corporate banking, investment banking and capital markets, and is a Senior Credit Officer.His CCB responsibilities have included formation and leadership of the CCB corporate finance team, being a Country Head (UK, Czech Rep. & Slovakia), supporting the launch of new markets in UK and Western Europe, and launch of the CCB ESG team. Oliver is the Citi Commercial Bank industry head for Healthcare and Consumer & Retail for Europe, MEA and UK.
