Medicon Valley Alliance, together with Ideon Science Park and Sigma Connectivity, have the pleasure to invite you to the Medicon Valley Alliance Medtech Network meeting on 3rd of March, 2022 in Lund. Prototyping is an essential and fundamental part of medical device development and manufacturing. Not only is it critical for refining the design of a product and testing safety and performance, prototyping is also essential for companies to verify their product’s functionalities and features and could for startups be away to pitch to potential investors. In this Medicon Valley Alliance Medtech network meeting, hosted by Ideon Science Park and Sigma Connectivity you will hear more about the key elements of prototype development, visit the state-of-the-art labs at Sigma Connectivity as well as getting inspired by other companies about their product development. Ideon Science Park in Lund is the first and biggest science park in Sweden and has a long tradition of creating innovations within telecommunications, new materials, life science, med tech and software/IOT. Ideon science park is today home for over 400 companies and 10.000 employees. Sigma Connectivity offers one of Europe’s most advanced design, test and verification labs. During the meeting we will get the chance to visit the Audio and Acoustic Lab, the 5G lab, the fast prototype labs and computer vision labs.
