Bertel Haarder is one of the longest serving ministers in Danish history, where he has held many different ministerial offices. Bertel Haarder has for many years been involved in Nordic issues to the benefit of the bilateral cooperation between Denmark and Sweden. In 2015 Bertel Haarder was named Commander of the royal Swedish Nordstjärneorden by the Swedish King for his involvement in Nordic issues and Danish – Swedish collaboration. He has also successfully contributed to translating the Swedish Almedalsveckan to the Danish Folkemøde. |
