Karin Beukel Assistant professor University of Copenhagen, Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management External lecturer at Copenhagen Business School. Karin Beukel is assistant professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. In 2013, she got her PhD in Economics and Management from Copenhagen Business School (CBS), in summer & fall 2014 she was visiting assistant professor at Harvard Business School, and since 2015 she holds a part time position as external lecturer at CBS. Her area of interest is intellectual property (IP) strategy and management and its connection to innovation. Besides her academic career she has been working as IP management consultant in MNCs and SME and has experience as entrepreneur as she co-founded several small companies. She has taught IP for 10 years and is a frequent invited speaker at various corporate IP events globally, hereunder speaking at the worlds leading IP knowledge sharing forum, the ICM gathering in 2014. At Copenhagen University she is engaged in teaching IP, entrepreneurship and innovation, both at master and PhD level as well as supervising PhDs and master students.
