About FULL DAY CONFERENCES

MVA Full Day Conferences are MVA’s most elaborate concept for collaborative events organized by MVA in partnership with one or more of our members. The overall objective of the full day conference day is for you to reach out to a relevant audience with your key messages, demonstrate your competence and expertise and facilitate discussion and knowledge-sharing with a relevant and targeted life science audience from Sweden and Denmark. The meetings furthermore provide a framework for networking across the Medicon Valley region. The meetings have a max capacity of around 100. Most Full Day Conferences have between 40 – 60 participants.

Life science relevance

MVA Full Day Conferences must have a clear focus on some aspects of life science, be it R&D, business development, financial services, relevant new legislation, packaging technology, market and partnership opportunities etc. Unless specified otherwise MVA Full Day Conferences will be in English and take place either at the MVA premises in Ørestad, Denmark, at Medicon Village in Lund or the partner´s own venue. The program should consist of high-quality content from, for instance, a company, an organization, or an academic institution. MVA does not accept presentations, with the sole purpose of presenting the partners’ products or services.

Sponsoring A FULL DAY CONFERENCE

When partnering with Medicon Valley Alliance and sponsoring a Full Day Conference you are responsible for compiling the program, inviting relevant speakers and acting as co-organizer. Medicon Valley Alliance will take care of all logistics, including targeted invitations, marketing of the Full Day Conference and your sponsorship of it, registration of participants. Welcome coffee and a croissant are included in the basic catering package. Lunch and additional catering are not included but MVA can provide it through the provider servicing the meeting facilities.  Catering packages can be customized to individual needs.

The cost for sponsoring a Full Day Conference:

• 7,500 EUR (+ VAT) for MVA-members
• 9,000 EUR (+ VAT) for non-members

Only one-third of the amount is invoiced up front when signing the contract for a Full Day Conference. 3-4 weeks before the meeting is scheduled to take place, you will receive a preliminary list of registered participants. Based on that list, you can then decide whether to proceed with the event or not.

The remaining two-thirds will be invoiced only after your final approval. If you decide not to proceed with the event, there will be no further invoicing from MVA, and you still get to keep the list of registered participants including their contact info for future follow-up.
