EIP specialises in high-value and complex patent matters. Its multidisciplinary team combines patent attorneys, litigators and commercial IP lawyers in three of the world’s main patent markets – Germany, UK and USA , and recently also in the Nordics through its recent expansion into Sweden.
EIP counsels clients on strategic patent portfolio development, and EIP has successfully implemented high-level IP strategies for some of the world’s largest companies. Increasingly EIP’s patent attorneys work closely with the litigation team in the UK and Germany providing additional technical expertise on large scale international patent litigation matters.
We are now getting ready to obtain Unitary Patents in the European Union (EU) and are well-placed to represent clients before the upcoming Unified Patent Court (UPC).
EIP has a strong sector focus and has a growing presence in the life sciences area. In September 2022 EIP opened an office in Stockholm with a team of three life sciences partners and a software partner to support clients based in the Nordics.
