Life science in Denmark and the Danish-Swedish Medicon Valley cluster is much more than Novo Nordisk, although their contribution can hardly be overestimated.
A sometimes somewhat overlooked element is the contribution from CDMO’s (Contract Development Manufacturing Organisations), which has been growing substantially over the recent years. As highlighted in the upcoming State of Medicon Valley Analysis produced by Citeline and presented at the Medicon Valley Alliance Annual Summit 11th of November, the Medicon Valley life science cluster is the second most preferred location to headquarter a CDMO in Europe only surpassed by the Paris-region.
We are happy to highlight that the MVA member companies Fujifilm and AGC Biologics and their very substantial investment in recent (and coming) year is a key component of the success story in the Danish part of the region. Along with Skane based Polypeptide and Sever Pharma Solutions you will meet both companies on stage 11th of November at Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport for the annual summit session “CMO & CDMO’s in the Medicon Valley ecosystem – a stronghold overlooked”. We look forward to seeing you there.
