Joining MVA was a logical next step to strengthen our presence and collaboration in the life science cluster of Denmark and Sweden.

What are Movianto’s unique selling points?
Movianto Benelux is an experienced Healthcare Dedicated Logistics Service Provider capable of supporting Innovative, scale-up, Healthcare Manufacturers in the European market. Movianto’s four (4) Healthcare Dedicated, Temperature Controlled, State-of-the-art Warehouses in the Benelux are designed as European Distribution Centers. All warehouses are GDP, GMP, ISO-9001 and ISO-13485 licensed and fully temperature controlled, and offer ambient, cold chain, and frozen pallet spaces (-20°C up to -80°C).
Movianto is in an ideal position to deliver specialized solutions to the healthcare industry such as warehousing (inbound, storage, outbound), international temperature-controlled transportation, repackaging and labelling, customs and trade compliance as well comprehensive order to cash. Movianto’s full order to cash services includes the setting up of new customers, invoicing, accounts receivable management as well dunning. Movianto is ISAE 3402 (SOC compliance) certified which means all orders to cash processes are annually controlled and audited by a third party.

What do you see as the key trends and challenges in Healthcare Supply Chain & Logistics?
One of the key challenges the Healthcare industry, and our clients, are facing is a lack of transparency and availability of data throughout their Supply Chain. The value of clean, accurate logistics data is undisputed, so the more logistics data is available, the easier our clients can manage and control their Supply Chain with the ultimate result of being able to make better decisions for the patient. Besides the fact, Supply Chain data will be used to make better patient decisions, it will also be used for predictive analytics. To get products more smoothly and quickly to customers, supply chain data and Artificial intelligence will be used to better anticipate the customer (future) needs. The key trend we see in the healthcare industry is the outsourcing of customer service activities where Movianto acts as the first point of contact towards the customers (wholesalers, distributors, hospitals, pharmacists), so that our client (manufacturer) can focus on their core business, developing innovative healthcare products such as medicines and medical devices for the patient. One of the main activities that is often outsourced is customer management incl. order to cash where Movianto takes care of setting up customers, licenses, solvability and liquidity checks as well invoicing, accounts receivable management and dunning in case of late payments.
