Beyond providing quality supplies, we aim to offer comprehensive solutions, including expert consultation for troubleshooting, promoting greener choices for sustainability, and actively contributing to the acceleration of innovation within the life science community. Aligned with Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission, our ultimate goal is to be the trusted partner that enables our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
2) What are, in your view, the most unique features of the Medicon Valley cluster?
The Medicon Valley cluster stands out for its remarkable cross-country collaboration, bringing together a multitude of promising companies from Denmark and Sweden. This collaborative spirit fosters an environment conducive to innovation and breakthroughs in the life science sector. My personal observation is that the Nordic life science community is on a trajectory to become a global leader in pioneering innovations. The synergy created by Medicon Valley’s diverse and promising companies positions it as a hub for groundbreaking advancements in life sciences.
3) What are your short- and long-term objectives for the Nordics?
2023 was a challenging year for all of us in many aspects. Our short-term perspective is to support the MVA community to remain productive in these difficult times and essentially “do more with less.” Looking ahead, our long-term perspective is that the Fisher Scientific Channel and Thermo Fisher Scientific become key partners, supporting the MVA ecosystem to new heights through both challenging and prosperous times.
